The Spirit of Pop Art

Rather than presenting Pop Art as a fixed historical movement, the exhibition explores it as an artistic attitude that continues to evolve. Bringing together artists who shaped Pop Art with those who have expanded and reinterpreted its visual language, the exhibition traces its influence across generations.

Consumer culture, mass media, vivid colour and the use of second-hand imagery remain as relevant today as they were at the movement's beginnings. Brands, repetition and the creation of icons have found new forms in social media and today's digital culture, allowing the ideas and visual language of Pop Art to be continually reconsidered.
